Journey to Joy:
Victory Over
Grief

Renewing minds, restoring joy, and redefining purpose beyond grief.

Our Mission

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."

John 10:10 — Our Foundation

Anything that comes to steal, kill, and destroy — we have to recognize where it comes from. Journey to Joy exists to expose that deception, break its hold, and walk you into the abundant life God promised. That promise does not expire with loss. Death does not dictate the abundance of your life. We are not here to help you manage grief. We are here to help you overcome it.

The Roadmap to Victory

Three Steps Out of Grief

01

Renew Your Mind

Grief plants lies — that the pain will never end, that joy is no longer yours, that God has forgotten you. We expose those lies with biblical truth and help you replace them with a mind renewed by the Word of God.

02

Rediscover Your Joy

Joy is not something you lost forever — it is something that was stolen. Through structured coaching, guided reflection, and community, we help you reclaim the joy that God always intended for your life.

03

Redefine Your Purpose

Your loss was never meant to end your story. God is not finished with you. Death does not cancel the abundant life Jesus promised. We walk you toward the calling, the identity, and the purpose that was always yours — on the other side of grief.

This Is Your Promise

"I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."

John 10:10

This is not a promise for someday. It is a promise for you — right now, in the middle of your grief. Abundant life is not cancelled by loss. It is waiting on the other side of it.

You Were Not Made for This

You Were Made for
Abundant Life

We've been led to believe that what we're feeling right now is permanent — that the grief, the numbness, the emptiness is just our life now. That is a lie. Journey to Joy was built to show you where the deception is, break its hold, and walk you into the life God still has for you.

This is not a support group where you sit in your pain together. This is a structured, faith-rooted recovery program that gives you a roadmap — and walks you all the way through it.

I empower grieving believers to overcome their hurt, guilt, and despair by renewing their minds — so that they can rediscover their joy and redefine their purpose.

Dr. Kellye A. Jones

The mission behind Journey to Joy was not created in theory. It was born out of Dr. Jones's own walk through grief while serving in ministry. In 2003, while actively serving as a minister, her firstborn child passed away at the age of nine — a moment that forever divided her life into "before" and "after."

As a mother, her heart was shattered. As a minister, she still had a calling to serve. In that space, she discovered what many grieving believers quietly experience: the church loves people well, but is often not equipped to walk them through the process of grief. There were prayers and kind words — but rarely a clear pathway for healing.

In 2015, grief visited again when her brother passed away after being deployed. Watching her mother navigate the pain of losing a son, Dr. Jones found herself sitting with her, praying with her, and helping her process the weight of that loss. In many ways, her mother became her first client — and that experience revealed something deeper: grief rarely affects just one person. It moves through families. It moves through generations. And very often, it moves through the church.

Out of those experiences, Journey to Joy: Victory Over Grief was born — a structured, faith-centered recovery journey designed to equip the church with practical tools so that grieving hearts are never left to navigate loss alone.

"Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

Matthew 6:33 — Foundation Scripture

Stories of Hope

Lives Transformed

"

Kellye spoke with such a compassionate manner, she was able to convey the pain will pass. I was able to draw strength from listening to her relatable and uplifting experiences pertaining to death, and her guidance on how to conquer the grief.

Loss of a brother

"

She shared with me her faith and how God brought her out of her dark place. She was always available to talk with and for that I say thank you. If there is anyone that can help you during your bereavement it would be her.

Devastating personal loss

"

Kellye was grieving herself, but she was strong enough to help me and my children get through the grieving process. I believe Kellye's strong faith in God allowed her to minister to those who loved her daughter as much as she did.
